Maggie's Birthday

Three years old! Goes by so fast yet couldn't be happier to say goodbye to "The Terrible Twos". Maggie's birthday was pretty crazy but she had a good time and that is all that matters. Here are some highlights from her special day.

Isaac helping open presents.
No matter whose birthday party it is, everybody wants a piece of the presents.

Boys and balls...enough said.

Maggie took some lessons on lounging from the pregnant mothers. Our apologies to the large bellies displayed wothout prior consent.

How do you make a cake more nutritious? Try sweetened coconut, gummi worms and sugar bugs. Just go heavy on the gummi worms, the kids are going to fight for 'em.

Fifteen kids with waterballoons against an unarmed Daddy...hardly a fair fight!

Where's Waldo? My guess would be running for dear life for kids and water balloons.

We found a really cool sprinkler on clearance for $4 but not many kids seemed too interested in it. Maggie loved it so in and of itself makes it more than worth it. We learned a few lessons, one being: Don't try to cram twenty 2-4 year olds on a small porch with a table full of food and cake.
A big thanks to all the parents who brought their little ones to play. We loved having you all and hope the kids had fun.

Happy birthday Maggie! Also, it's good to see that Adam is still the same little kid I met six years ago. I like the cake, bugs are cool...except when they are in my apartment. In honor of Maggie's Dora swimsuit, ¡Feliz cumpleaƱos! Happy Birthday!

Such bravery to have a big party for a large group of small children--I applaud you!! We stuck to family parties when our kids were small--you are much more daring!
