Well I finally graduated!! (You may think that now I will have time for keeping up on our blog but who knows. I have a long list of things to catch up on.) I now have my master's degree in social work. It is so nice to be done with classes but I still feel like I am just on a break and will be going back soon. I will probably miss it actually in a couple of months. I think Adam and the kids are happier I am done than I am actually. They have been wonderful though during the past two years while I was working on this. We didn't get too many pictures from graduation day but we did get some so here are a few.
These are the other social work graduates.
This is from the hooding ceremony.
I am so grateful that I had this opportunity to go back to school and advance my education. I really feel like "God" should be written above my name on the diploma though because I think it is more His degree than mine. My Father in Heaven gave me everything that I needed to be able to achieve this goal. I am blessed to be able to live in a country where I have had many opporutnities for educaiton throughout my life. He blessed me further with the opportunity and the means at this time to continue in my education. If that wasn't enough He also blessed me with and ability to learn and with strength, patience and persistance to continue working hard for the past two years. And of course he blessed me with my incredible supportive family. I guess this is just one more degree for our Heavenly Father : ) Now I have the responsibility to use this gift to help others so I guess I better figure out what he wants me to do now!

Way to go Nikki!!! Now we expect to see you at bookclub in June. Seriously, we miss you!!
Congratulations Nikki!
I know exactly what you mean with the whole degree being a gift from God. That is exactly how I felt when I received mine. :)
Glad to see you blogging again, I missed you.
Keep up the good work!
Congratulations Niki, that's awesome! :) It's good to have experiences in life that show us that God really is guiding us and providing a way for us to accomplish our goals. (I did chuckle a little bit reading this though because it reminded me of how I've always thought that Donny's master's degree should have my name on it too. :)
I'm so impressed. That is such an accomplishment, especially with a husband in dental school and two kids. Congratulations!
Congrats!!! The first fall after I graduated and wasn't going back to school, I would have recurring nightmares of skipping class (by just forgetting to go) forgetting to do homework assignments, showing up to class only to realize I'd forgotten to study for a test, etc, etc, etc, I felt horrible in the dreams, but laughed by day. I'm so happy for you guys!!
Congratulations on getting your Masters!
